Dusty books and Headless Horsemen
Hello friends!
A bit late on this one, I know. During October I had the pleasure of performing in a new work! The Headless Horseman’s Revenge as Iggy Crane (a descendant of you know who). Not dissimilar to Nevermore, we turned a small town in the rolling hills of PA into a ghostly backdrop for a modern tale of horror! It was great fun returning to my roots of “emo teen” to tell this timeless story. I couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished in this immersive piece, and look forward to working on many more like it in the future!

Nobody’s Side!
Hey there!
It’s been a while. This past month I had the absolute pleasure of joining the company of Chess in Concert at Gretna Theatre, once again helmed by Michael O’Brien and Dan Kazemi. I was lucky enough to be part of a fantastic cast of incredible vocalists and performers to take on this positively killer score. I was also fortunate enough to understudy the role of Walter Decourcey! I’m absolutely thrilled with the way this one turned out, it was some of the best live music I’ve ever been a part of. So much love for everyone involved in this project!

The opening shot of Chess! See if you can spot me amongst the company!
Jingle Jingle Jingle…
And now, friends, we are truly up to date! I just returned from my very first national tour! I was lucky enough to play Santa in Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer. Yes, just like the old Rankin and Bass cartoon that w all know so well! It was an absolute joy playing Santa and seeing parts of the country I never thought I would see! Not only that, but I worked with a truly wonderful group of people, and I was so happy to share in this experience with them!

Once upon a midnight dreary…
Hello friends!
This post, as you may have guessed, is several months late! I couldn’t tell you why this got away from me, but a great many months ago I was involved in another wonderful production at Gretna Theater! This time it was Nevermore: The Fantastic Terrors of Edgar Allan Poe! I was lucky enough to perform my favorite Poe-m (see what I did there?), The Raven. Overall it was a wonderful experience, and I was delighted to delve into the language and symbolism of the piece! Also so lovely to be working at Gretna again!

This is the moment…
This month I returned to my hometown of Lancaster, PA, where I was part of an absolutely phenomenal production of Frank Wildhorn’s Jekyll and Hyde! I didn’t know that much about the show (other than the basic story; hard to avoid spoilers for that at this point), but I was positively blown away by this show and this team! The incredible folks I got to work with poured their heart and soul into this project, and it was an absolute powerhouse of a production. Truly some of the most talented performers I’ve ever worked with, and some of the most incredible vocals I’ve ever witnessed (and all with a cast of TWELVE)! Not only that, but the sense of community in this show was truly unmatched, and I’m so happy I got to be a part of something so special. I only wish it could have run longer! I’m headed back to NYC now, but I’ll never forget this incredible team and show. Until next time!

Here’s to the true meaning of Christmas!
Hello friends!
I returned a few days ago from West Hartford, CT. I had the absolute pleasure of playing Charles Dickens at Playhouse on Park’s production of A Charles Dickens Christmas! After multiple waves of illness passed through the theater, I was astounded by the tenacity and adaptability of the entire team! We performed 30 shows (both public and private), and had a positively joyous time doing it! We even got to meet with the original composer and lyricist, which was an absolute delight (also found out that they knew some of my favorite professors from my time at Emerson College). It was a delightful experience, although I’m incredibly happy to be home. I hope you’re all doing well! Happy holidays!

Not a city of angels, but finally…
I’m a little late sharing this, but during the month of September (and part of October) I had the absolute pleasure of playing Jesus in Godspell at Emerald Coast Theatre Company! My third show by Stephen Schwartz, and it was a great one! Godspell has always been one of my favorite biblical shows, especially in its aesthetic alone (I believe in an episode of the Cinema Talk Podcast I referred to it as a “fever dream”, which I still maintain is accurate). I was so happy to work with such a great group of performers, and I truly felt that we had built a sense of community within our cast. I hope our paths will cross again in the future! Now I’m back in Pennsylvania for a bit, and then it’s onto the next adventure! Stay tuned!

To MO and back again, Old Sport…
Two days ago I returned from a marvelous adventure at the Ozark Actor’s Theater in Rolla, MO. I had the pleasure of playing Jay Gatsby in the Great Gatsby, and what an absolute dream come true it was! I met so many wonderful people there, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of that production. Hopefully I’ll be able to post some of the lovely production photos to my gallery soon! More exciting things coming in the next few weeks, and I’ll be sure to keep you up to date!
